The Society for Immunology and Immunopathology (SIIP) was established with the aim to provide a forum for its members to participate in conventions/symposia/workshops/ training etc. and to provide a recent updated literature in the form of journal/newsletter. This society has been registered under Article 21 of Societies Act 1860. Its members include Veterinarians, Medicos, Homoeopaths, Biotechnologists, Immunologists and scientists working in the field of Immunology and Immunopathology. The members belong to various research institutes, universities and industries from all over the country. The society provides a common platform for mutual exchange of ideas and organizes seminars/conferences/symposia/ workshops etc. During the convention of society, one full day is devoted for at least one latest generation immunodiagnostic technique or important topic related with immunodiagnostic laboratory quality control programme in which some selected young scientists will be imparted practical training. The society also publishes a periodical “Journal of Immunology and Immunopathology” which has also been widely circulated throughout the world. The aim of the journal is to publish the original research papers, critical reviews on recent topics and ideas of members in order to disseminate the scientific knowledge.

Rajpal Best Paper Award

This award will be given to the authors of the paper published in preceding volume(s) of J. Immunol. Immunopathol. and adjudged as best by the committee constituted for this purpose. A certificate will be given to all the authors of the paper provided they are the active member(s) of SIIP.

Prakash Best Poster Presentation Award

This award will be given to a scientist presenting a paper in poster session and adjudged as best by the committee constituted for the purpose. A certificate will be given to the winner. All contestants for this award must be the member of the SIIP; if they have not taken membership earlier, same can be applied immediately with the poster/ application on prescribed proforma.

Best Young Scientist Award

This award will be given to a young scientist of below 40 years of age who will be adjudged best during presentation of paper in National Symposium / webinar/ conference. A certificate will be given to the winner scientist. All contestants for this award must be the member of the SIIP; if they have not taken membership earlier, same can be applied immediately with the paper/ application on prescribed proforma.

Life Time Achievement Award

This award will be given to a selected senior level scientist based on his/her achievements and contributions to the society. The candidate should preferably be the active member of the SIIP.

Fellow SIIP

This award will be given to a selected senior level (1) and middle career level (2) scientist based on their achievements and contributions to the society. The candidate must be the active member of the SIIP
