The Society for Immunology and Immunopathology, India (SIIP) was established with the aim to provide a forum for its Member to participate in conventions/symposia/workshops/ training etc. and to provide a recent updated literature in the form of journal/newsletter. This society is being registered under Article 21 of Societies Act 1860. Its Member include veterinarians, medicos, immunologists and scientists working in the field of Immunology and Immunopathology. The society will provide a common platform for mutual exchange of ideas and will organize seminars/conferences/symposia/ workshops etc. During the annual/biannual/ convention of society, one full day will be devoted for at least one latest generation immunodiagnostic technique in which some selected young scientists will be imparted practical training. The society will also publish a periodical “Journal of Immunology and Immunopathology” which has also been registered and allotted an ISSN. The aim of the journal is to publish the original research papers, critical reviews on recent topics and ideas of members in order to disseminate the scientific knowledge.
The scientists working or interested in the areas of Immunology and Immunopathology may become the life member of society by paying Rs. 2000/- (DD/Cash). Payment must be made through A/C payee cheques or demand drafts drawn in favour of “Society for Immunology and Immunopathology” and payable at an bank, at Pantnagar/ Rudrapur (Uttarakhand). The members from abroad will have to pay US$ 100 to become life member of the society.
